Wake Forest guard Chaundee Brown said Tuesday he is transferring to Michigan.
“Committed,” he posted on Instagram with a collage of images of himself in Wolverines gear.
The 6-foot-5 junior averaged 12.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game for the Demon Deacons in 2019-20.
Brown will have one season of eligibility remaining after sitting out the 2020-21 campaign, barring a waiver from the NCAA.
He played in 84 games (73 starts) in three seasons under former Wake Forest coach Danny Manning, who was fired last month and replaced by Steve Forbes.
Brown averaged 10.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists during his career in Winston-Salem, N.C. He shot 42.3 percent from the field, 32.8 percent from 3-point range and 83.1 percent from the foul line.
